Cobb Mother Charged With Cruelty In Severe Beating Of Child: ICYMI
Cobb County mother Nakeisha Logan' arrested in beating of her son, authorities say.

ACWORTH, GA -- A Cobb County mother is facing child cruelty charges after allegedly beating her 5-year-old son so bad that he bled from his face, according to news reports. Nakeisha Logan's son was so afraid of what his mother would do to him he reportedly told investigators that he tried to hide under a bed.
That's when Logan grabbed a belt and hit him with it, the boy told Cobb police. After that, she grabbed a broom and struck him with that, according to WAGA-TV. A police report cited by the TV station says that Logan then began to stomp on the boy's stomach until “he felt like he was going to throw up.”
The boy, whose name was not released because he is a juvenile, told police that his mother also threw a box of toys at him inside their Mableton home.
