Dashing Through the Square, Rudolph Run: Family Holiday Fun
Dress up in your most festive running gear for Dashing Through the Square, a 5K with a cause, on Dec. 15 at the Marietta Square.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Rho Zeta Omega Chapter and The PEARL Foundation, Inc. will host the “Dashing Through the Square” 5K race on Saturday, December 15 at the historic Marietta Square. Open to all, this year’s event will include a 5K Walk/Run, a Virtual 5K, and the 1K Rudolph Run for kids. Proceeds from the event will support youth enrichment programs and other community initiatives benefiting Cobb County. This year’s race ambassador is 11Alive morning meteorologist Chesley McNeil.
The race is a Peachtree Qualifying Race and features electronic chip timing to ensure accuracy for all runners. Those interested can register for the race here. Race participants will receive a high-quality runner's T-shirt and a commemorative medal.
The PEARL Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit philanthropic arm of the Rho Zeta Omega Chapter. Its mission is to improve the quality of life for Georgians by providing education initiatives that promote self-reliance, self-empowerment, and self-determination.
