Man, 20, Killed in Hit-And-Run Crash
Victim was walking on North Marietta Parkway between Wallace Road and I-75.
Marietta Police are investigating a hit-and-run pedestrian crash that killed a 20-year-old man early Friday morning, Officer David Auld announced.
Police said initial on-scene investigation reveals that the man was walking west bound on North Marietta Parkway, between Wallace Road, and I-75, in the far right, right turn only lane. The man was struck from behind by an unknown vehicle, which left the scene of the crash.
The man was transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital via Metro Ambulance, where he was pronounced dead.
