Cobb DOT crews, along with the county's Parks Department, spent Saturday and Sunday clearing trees from roads. By the end of Sunday, crews will have fielded nearly 200 calls involving trees. Cobb DOT Road Division Manager Bill Shelton added crews will continue patrolling roads Sunday evening and into Monday.
"They will spend much of the week removing debris from county right of way," the county added. "Trees that fall on private property are the responsibility of the landowner. Shelton says all roads in Cobb County are expected to be open by 6 p.m. Sunday."
