CRASE is a nationally recognized program that utilizes law enforcement best-practices and methods developed by Texas State University and the Federal Bureau of Investigations, officials said.
Every participating agency has sent staff through the ALERRT (Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training) program, police said.
"Our hope is to bring the community closer through education! In a tragedy like Las Vegas, people not
only find themselves wondering what they would have done; but they also ask themselves what actions
should I possibly consider, if I were to find myself in the midst of an active and violent event," Cobb police said in the news release.
"This CRASE seminar is designed to educate, as well as address your questions and concerns. Together we are
stronger than any one individual!"
