Second Man Dies After Cobb House Fire
The blaze broke out Tuesday night in a home on Landmark Court, say media reports.

UPDATE — A father and his stepson have died as the result of a fire Tuesday night in a house on Landmark Court in Marietta, according to media reports. The cause of the fire is under investigation, a spokeswoman for the Cobb County fire department said.
The older man died in the blaze and the younger man succumbed to his injuries Wednesday at a local hospital, the spokeswoman said. She declined to release their names until they're confirmed by the county medical examiner.

The fire broke out at about 10 p.m., Channel 2 reported, A neighbor told Channel 2 that he called 911 after he heard a loud boom.
He said his father ran to the house across the street and saw flames in the living room, but he couldn't open the door.

Cobb firefighters arrived on the scene and rescued one individual, taking him to a local hospital, according to media reports. There was no word on the person's condition on Wednesday, Channel 2 reported.
