From the City of Marietta: The Marietta Museum of History is pleased to continue its Pop-In for Pop Culture series on Tuesday, December 13th from 4pm to 8pm. This month we will be celebrating the season with some Holiday Treats. We will have some yummy snacks and drinks for our visitors. The Museum Store will be open to do some evening holiday shopping.

Pop-In for Pop Culture is a yearlong program, created by the Museum to allow visitors to explore the Museum in a whole new way! Every 2nd Tuesday evening from 4pm to 8pm, the galleries will "Pop Open" for a night of Pop Culture from the 1950s and 60s. Enjoy reminiscing about the music, food, games and so much more. These events are held in conjunction with our exhibit, BOOM! Toys of the Baby Boomer Generation. The activities and food tastings are FREE and are included in the price of admission.

The Museum uses ordinary artifacts to tell the extraordinary stories of Marietta and Cobb County and is the top rated Museum and one of the Top Five things to do in Marietta on TripAdvisor. Galleries and exhibits cover topics such as military history, home life throughout the centuries, technology and local businesses from our past. Current temporary exhibits include: Shoppin' Southern Style: Fashions from the mid-20th century and BOOM! Toys of the Baby Boomer Generation.
