Thief Sticks Up Employees At Waffle House In South Cobb: Police
Thief holds up employees at Waffle House in Austell, Cobb police say.
SOUTH COBB, GA -- Police in Cobb County are asking to public to help them find a thief who recently held up workers at a Waffle House. The incident happened Saturday about 2:42 a.m., authorities said.
Investigators said that a man armed with a handgun came into the restaurant at 7350 Cityview Drive SW in Austell and demanded money from the workers, Cobb police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce said. After getting the cash, the perpetrator fled on Six Flags Drive. The offender is described as a "darkskinned" black male with a "thin build." He had on a gray hoodie and pants along with black shoes, Pierce said.

No one was injured in the robbery, police said. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call (770) 499-3945.
