Warrant: Alleged Pimp Causes Woman to Lose Hearing

The suspect was arrested June 1 at the Delk Road Motel 6 on multiple drug, battery and pimping charges.

A woman was forced into a life of prostitution, and her alleged pimp is accused of punching her in the face to the point that she lost the ability to hear.

Terrick Deon Young of McDonough was arrested June 1 at the Delk Road Motel 6 on multiple drug, battery and pimping charges.

According to a Cobb County criminal warrant, he allegedly made the woman "hang out in the parking lot looking for sex partners." She was "directed to go there for prostitutution under threat of being assaulted which has happened to her before," according to the warrant.

That wasn't the only injury the woman had.

When Marietta police found her, her left hand was swollen, and black and blue on the palm as well as on the back. She "was unable to use her hand, and she was unable to move her fingers."

Young, according to the warrant, was allegedly responsible for that, too.

The woman was being treated at  hospital as of June 1, according to the warrant. Her condition today is not known. Officer David Auld, the spokesman for the Marietta Police Department, could not be reached for comment.

Back at the hotel, police found four crack pipes with cocaine residue under Young's pillow and in a nightstand drawer. They also found less than one ounce of marijuana on the back of the toilet and the nightstand, according to the warrant.

Young, 29, remains in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond on charges that include two counts of aggravated battery, one count of cocaine possession, one count of pimping, one count of marijuana possession and one count of giving a false name, address or birthdate to a law enforcement officer.

He has a hold on his release out of Douglas County, according to online jail records.
