18 Year Old Shot, Killed In Midtown After Selling Water: Police

MIDTOWN, GA — According to Atlanta police an 18-year-old was fatally shot multiple times Saturday afternoon. The shooting happened in Midtown at 95 8th Street.

Atlanta Police Captain D’Andrea Price tells WSB that she believed the victim was with a group of teens selling water.

Surveillance video shows the shooter approaching a group of young men who were walking up the street. Something occurred, which caused everyone to flee. The shooter entered a garage and the victim was shot in the chest. The victim, identified Sunday as 18-year-old Jalanni Pless of Atlanta, died at the scene.

Police released two people after questioning. There are no suspects at this time.
