Atlanta Veterans Day Parade Set For Saturday In Downtown
Atlanta's Veteran's Day Parade steps off at 11 am Saturday. Here's everything you need to know about the parade route, parking, and more.
ATLANTA, GA -- The 37th annual Atlanta Veterans Day Parade will be on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018 at 11:11 a.m. in downtown Atlanta. The parade begins on Peachtree Street south of Ralph McGill/Ivan Allen Blvd. The parade will proceed south on Peachtree Street, turn right on Baker Street towards Centennial Olympic Park, The World of Coca Cola, and Georgia Aquarium. It will continue on Baker Street and turn left onto Marietta Street.
The parade will end at the intersection of Centennial Olympic Park Drive and Marietta Street. Road closures along the road are expected from around 10:35 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The parade route follows some of the most accessible streets in Downtown Atlanta. With the reviewing stand being located near Centennial Olympic Park, many spectators park in one of the many pay lots located near the park. Area streets may start closing as early as 8:30 a.m.

The parade is sponsored by the Georgia Veteran's Day Association.

The 116th Army Band will be performing at this year's annual Veterans Festival. The event will take place at Pemberton Place near the World of Coca-Cola between noon and 2:30p.m.
