Atlantic Station Is Getting New Mural 'With Love" In Midtown
The 175-by-40-foot mural is part of Atlantic Station's ongoing public art initiative.
MIDTOWN, GA — A new mural is coming to Atlantic Station in Midtown. One of the city’s largest and most visible murals titled “With Love” is set to be painted, beginning Monday.
As part of Atlantic Station’s ongoing public art initiative, the mixed-use development partnered with the ABV Agency and Gallery and local freelance designer and mural visionary, Thomas Turner to deliver the 175-by-40-foot mural on the property’s parking garage facade above its Pinnacle Lot, facing the high-volume I-75 and I-85 corridor.
“With Love” serves as a love letter to Atlanta and Atlantic Station’s visitors and residents. Turner designed the mural with three main focal points – the Terra Falcon, a mythical being named after the Roman goddess of Earth, the tree on its back and the bold Atlantic Station text. Behind those, Turner created a whimsical, dream-like background, inspired by the Millennium Gate and the Atlanta skyline. The mural illustrates the symbiotic relationship between the city of Atlanta and Atlantic Station – together they are creating a place for people to gather, live, thrive and combine dreams with reality.

“My work is designed to inspire people to escape reality and enter a new realm, one where they can let their imaginations run wild,” said Turner. “As a true Atlantan, I wanted to pay homage to a place that has meant so much to me, and Atlantic Station is an integral part of that. The mural is a product of my imagination and is a gift to Atlanta from Atlantic Station.”
Facing both I-75 and I-85 and across the interstate from SCAD’s Atlanta campus, the mural reaches more than just visitors of Atlantic Station – it interacts with Atlanta as a whole. The highly visible location was chosen for the mural to act as a gateway into the city for the more than 600,000 commuters who pass the property daily.
The “With Love” mural is the latest announcement in the property’s ongoing art initiative focused on bringing interactive art to the property following the news of Tiny Doors ATL’s first public studio on property.

“This is a pinnacle year for Atlantic Station as we deliver our largest property transformation to date, aiming to provide meaningful experiences for our guests,” said Kristie Ray, director of marketing at Hines. “‘With Love’ is an integral piece of our transformation, our gift to the city to be enjoyed by all. As part of our ongoing art initiative, we will continue to bring pieces that embody Atlantic Station’s rich history and role as the heart of Atlanta.”
Since launching his career in 2015, Turner has focused on creating large-scale commissioned murals in some of Atlanta’s most popular neighborhoods, including Summerhill, Decatur, Edgewood, Buckhead, Sandy Springs and more. Integrating his love for Atlanta in each of his pieces, much of his artwork focuses on the connection between nature, animals, humans and inanimate beings that grow as one entity existing in a timeless moment. “With Love” is the largest mural he has executed.
This announcement comes on the heels of several updates from property’s ongoing transformation, including the revamped Concierge program and new tenant announcements. Atlantic Station’s transformation is slated for completion in October coinciding with the property’s 15th anniversary.
