Atlantic Station Hosting National Night Out Event

National Night Out is Tuesday, August 6, and Atlantic Station is hosting an event with Atlanta public safety officials.

ATLANTA — Atlantic Station is hosting a National Night Out event, an annual community-building event that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. On Tuesday, August 6, Atlantic Station will bring together local safety officers and Midtown residents in observance of National Night Out, a night when local communities across the country enhance partnerships with local law enforcement and safety officials, become better educated on crime prevention and drug awareness and band together to show criminals they aren't welcome in their neighborhoods.

On District Avenue, guests will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with members of the GBI Bomb Squad, the Georgia Tech Patrol, and the Atlanta fire and police departments. Guests will be treated to a behind the scenes peek with touch-a-truck, an opportunity to get up close to government vehicles and displays, while enjoying music provided by a live DJ. Free hot dogs will be provided by Target and Coca-Cola products. The annual event is brought to the property by Atlantic Station’s security team, Chesley Brown International.

The event runs from 6-8 pm.
