Buckhead Law Firm Chooses Kate's Club as its 2014 Partner

Kate's Club provides long-term therapeutic and recreational support for grieving children.

Morris, Manning & Martin LLP has chosen Kate’s Club, an Atlanta-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower children and teens facing life after the death of a parent or sibling, as its Annual Partner for 2014.

For more than a decade, Kate’s Club has been the leading organization in Metro Atlanta providing long-term therapeutic and recreational support for grieving children.

MMMPact, Morris, Manning & Martin’s social responsibility outreach, selects one area organization per year as its Annual Partner. This year’s partnership will ensure that the firm and Kate’s Club work closely together throughout the year to create multiple sponsorship and volunteer opportunities within the firm, as well as to raise awareness and funds for Kate’s Club. The partnership also signifies that all proceeds from MMM’s annual fundraising event in the summer go to Kate’s Club.

MMM enjoyed a successful year partnering with CURE Childhood Cancer in 2013, and firm leaders look forward to continuing that success for many years to come with other area nonprofit organizations.

“Community involvement is central to MMM’s personality,” said Managing Partner Louise M. Wells. “We believe that giving back to the communities in which we live and work is an important corporate responsibility. Kate’s Club and CURE are perfect examples of the organizations we look to support – they are smaller, highly-motivated and can make a big impact.”
