A gas station clerk in Midtown defended a co-worker after a man attacked him with a butter knife on Monday morning.

MIDTOWN, GA — Two gas station clerks narrowly escaped when a man attempted to attack them with a butter knife early Monday morning, reports WSB-TV. The incident happened at a Shell gas station on Northside Drive and 14th Street.
One of the clerks was cut on his head, but the cuts were minor and he'll be alright, officials said. The other clerk fought back. According to police, the man was able to get in through the hole in a bulletproof window to attack.
“He came in immediately and started screaming and shouting and jumped. He was very, very scary,” Berhan Nemaneta tells the news outlet.
