See when it will freeze in metro Atlanta, when it will rain and get an early look at the local Super Bowl Sunday weather forecast.

ATLANTA, GA — It won't get as nasty as it was a couple of weeks back, but metro Atlanta is in for some freezing temperatures, and then some rain, this week. Here's the good news — it doesn't look like we'll get both at the same time.
The days will still be relatively warm this week, but nighttime lows are forecast to get below freezing on Monday and Tuesday nights. It will warm up a bit from there, according to the National Weather Service, but by Thursday we'll have rain that could last into Super Bowl weekend.
Monday night's low is forecast to get down to 30 degrees, with wind gusts up to 25 m.p.h. making it feel even colder. It will be cold and windy again Tuesday night, with the low getting all the way down to 27, the weather service says.
