Homegoods Opening Stores In Midtown, Chamblee

The new stores are in the District at Howell Mill in Midtown and Chamblee Plaza near Brookhaven.

ATLANTA — HomeGoods, a national retailer specializing in off-price home décor, is opening a new Midtown location on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 8 am, with a second store in Chamblee opening sometime in October. The new, 22,037 square-foot store in Atlanta is located in The District at Howell Mill at 1801 Howell Mill Road. This will be the 24th HomeGoods in the Atlanta market. The Chamblee store is located in Chamblee Plaza on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, about one mile inside I-285.

HomeGoods merchandise departments include furniture, rugs, lighting, decorative accessories, kitchen and dining, bedding, bath, kids’ décor and toys, pet accessories, storage, workspace, outdoor, gourmet, wellness and more. HomeGoods expects to fill approximately 65 full- and part-time positions.

HomeGoods said its prices are generally 20%-60% below full-price retailers'.

Regular store hours are Monday through Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.; and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Special grand opening day hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

HomeGoods operates more than 740 stores across the country and is a division of The TJX Companies, Inc., which operates more than 4,300 stores including T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Sierra, and Homesense.
