LifeLine Animal Project To Build Premier Community Animal Center

Also, meet a sweet girl who is good with kids, other dogs and adores people. Her name is Kobi, and she's our Fulton County Pet of the Week!

I’m very excited to share the news that LifeLine Animal Project has recently launched our first capital campaign to fund the new LifeLine Community Animal Center. The new 25,000 square foot facility will feature a full-service, low-cost veterinary clinic that will be open to the public, and a premiere adoption center. The goal of the Community Animal Center is to keep more animals from being surrendered to shelters by providing affordable wellness care up front, while helping every adoptable animal that comes into the shelter find a forever home.

While we currently care for 30,000 animals at our clinics and shelters, the new facility will significantly expand LifeLine’s reach, allowing us to ultimately serve an additional 20,000 animals annually, and the new adoption center is expected to facilitate more than 2,000 adoptions a year!

LifeLine has already received over $3.2 million in pledges towards the new building and is looking to the Atlanta community to help us raise the remainder of the project's budget and make the facility a reality. LifeLine’s Fulton County Animal Services Pet of the Week: Kobi

Hi, my name is Kobi, and I am a very good girl! I am two year's old, and I used to live the good life in a home with a family. I loved playing with the children, and my former owner says I was great with them. I also used to go to a doggie daycare and doggie hotel, and they said I always behaved wonderfully there too. I love to play with balls and toys, go on walks and kiss and hug humans! So why am I at the shelter now? I don’t know, but the nice shelter ladies tell me someone will scoop me up soon. Will it be you? I hope so! Come meet me today at LifeLine’s Fulton County shelter by dropping by 860 Marietta Blvd in Atlanta, emailing adoptions@fultonanimalservices.com or calling 404-613-0357.
