374 Pets Adopted From Fulton Animal Shelter During Black Friday Campaign
LifeLine Animal Project hopes to keep the momentum going by offering $25 adoptions for dogs more than 25 pounds and all cats for December.
Christmas came early for employees of LifeLine Animal Project, when a record number of homeless pets found their forever families over our Black Friday/Cyber Monday fee-waived weekend. The Atlanta community stepped up and adopted 374 LifeLine shelter animals!
This was a tremendous gift for LifeLine’s shelter animals, employees and volunteers, but unfortunately, we still have plenty of animals (hundreds in fact) who did not get adopted. So in the spirit of the holidays, LifeLine is seeking more happy endings and offering $25 adoptions on all dogs over 25 lbs. and all cats during our “Give Joy” promotion throughout December.
All of LifeLine’s shelters are participating in the Give Joy promotion, including: DeKalb County Animal Services (DCAS), Fulton County Animal Services (FCAS), LifeLine’s Dog House & Kitty Motel and LifeLine’s Cat Adoption Center. The $25 adoption includes the pet’s spay/neuter, microchip and vaccines – a $300 value at no cost. LifeLine Animal Project’s Fulton Pets of the Week: Sisko and Selena
Sisko is a sweet boy who has a great temperament and enjoys making new friends. This two-year-old precious guy is a lover, not a fighter, and when he was getting picked on by another dog, he didn’t even try to fight back. It’s hard not to embrace and nuture this little guy. Around the shelter he is also known as Mr. Handsome Pants and Mr. Mushface Cuddlebug. Sisko deserves a home with someone who will cuddle with him and shower him with love. Selena is a gorgeous, large girl who looks to be part Spanish Mastiff. She is about three year’s old, has lots of energy and is lots of fun! Selena loves to play with toys, and volunteers love to take her outside and watch her play. She is also good with other dogs and is sure to brighten up any household.
