Man Shot Outside Midtown Virtual Reality Bar 'Fighting' For Life
Police are still looking for the man who shot Ezra Whitehead, a 23-year-old father, over the weekend outside the Revery Virtual Reality Bar.

ATLANTA -- A GoFundMe has been set for the 23-year-old father of one who was shot early Saturday morning outside a Midtown virtual reality bar. Police said Ezra Whitehead was shot by an unknown assailant after an argument outside the Revery Virtual Reality Bar on Monroe Drive near Ponce de Leon Avenue. The shooter, only described as a black male in a tan jacket, is still at large.
The online fundraiser was set up by Whitehead's brother, who said Whitehead was shot four times: in the hip, stomach, chest and head.
"If you know Ezra, you know he is not going out without a fight. He has done 2 surgeries and and is recovering at the moment," the GoFundMe says., "They said he would be paralyzed on the left side of his body but he moved his left arm and toes last night while we were visiting. He has had multiple surgeries and doesn't have health insurance."
