Midtown Condo Sells for Millions of Dollars, Sets Record
The area has a rich history of big-budget residential deals, the Atlanta Business Chronicle says.

A luxury condominium in Midtown was sold for over $2 million this week, the highest sale price per square foot for a home in the area’s history.
According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Cheetah Lounge Owner Bill Hagood closed on a $2.25 million deal on his 3,138 sq. ft., 4 bed 3 full bath home located at the Above the Four Seasons at 75 14th St. on Monday. The home also features two half bathrooms and takes up half of the floor on which it is located the Chronicle reports.
At $717 a square foot, it’s the most anyone has ever paid for residential square footage in Midtown, according to the Chronicle.

Believe it or not, Monday’s sale isn’t the most expensive residential sale in the area’s history. In 1995, Cabbage Patch Kids mogul Xavier Roberts paid $3.4 million for his penthouse in the same building, the Chronicle reports.
