ATLANTA — More than 700 cats and kittens entered LifeLine Animal Project’s DeKalb and Fulton County Animal Services shelters in June, so hundreds are available for adoption. To help them find families, LifeLine is holding a fee-waived “Cat Days of Summer” adoption event, now through July 31. All cats and kittens may be adopted free of charge, including the kitty’s spay/neuter, microchip and vaccinations, valued at over $300, for no additional cost.

Participating shelters include:

  • DeKalb County Animal Services, 3280 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Chamblee;
  • Fulton County Animal Services, 860 Marietta Blvd NW, Atlanta;
  • LifeLine Cat Adoption Center, 3172 E Ponce de Leon Ave, Scottdale.

A nonprofit founded in 2002, LifeLine Animal Project manages DeKalb and Fulton County Animal Services, where it has increased county shelter adoptions by 300 percent, and operates a private rehabilitative shelter and two LifeLine Spay & Neuter Clinics.
