Naked Man On Midtown Roof Taken Into Custody | GRAPHIC VIDEO
The man spent several hours on a Midtown roof before finally being talked down.

ATLANTA - A naked man spent several hours on the roof of a Midtown residence on Friday. Police had to close several roads while SWAT officials tried to talk the man down off a roof in the 300 block of 4th Street. Police blocked Argonne Avenue between Ponce de Leon Avenue and 5th Street, and 4th Street between Penn Avenue and Durant Place.
A neighbor told Channel 2 Action News the man had been on the roof yelling and refusing to come down since around 5 am.

Police placed inflatables on the side of the home in case the man fell off.

The man was finally talked down and taken into custody around 2 pm.

Neighbors also told Channel 2 he was banging on the doors of several nearby homes and even broke into one, details which police have not confirmed.
