Piedmont Park Arts Festival Set For August 19, 20
More than 250 artists are expected at the eighth annual Piedmont Park Arts Festival is set for August 19 and 20.
ATLANTA, GA --One of Atlanta's largest festivals is set to take place in the city's largest park in August. The eighth annual Piedmont Park Arts Festival will be held on Saturday, August 19 an 20, Patch has learned. The two-day free event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
More than 250 artists are expected to be showing their wares, from painters to photographers to sculptors, leather and metalwork artisans, glass blowers, jewelers and crafters. Festival-goers will also be treated to live music, local food vendors, a children’s area, an emerging artist market and more. The event is being put on by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, a local organization supporting metro Atlanta's arts and craft community.
