Perhaps that's why Violet Beattie, decided to make her entrance into the world on Jan. 2 — fashionably late — instead of Jan. 1 at Atlanta Medical Center, where she was born.
The hospital and parents, Kate Modolo and Ross Beattie of Decatur, welcomed Violet as its first baby of 2014 on Jan. 2 at 2:55 a.m.
She weighed 9 pounds and 5.5 ounces. Happy Birthday and Happy New Year!
