Suspect Named In Midtown Virtual Reality Bar Shooting

ATLANTA -- Police have identified a suspect in the shooting of a 23-year-old father last month outside Midtown's Revery VR Bar on Monroe Drive. Teodros Bagashwe Beyene, 26, is wanted in the shooting of Ezra Whitehead, an employee of Fellini's Pizza. Police said according to witnesses, Beyene and Whitehead were engaged in a physical altercation prior to the shooting.
A GoFundMe has been set for Whitehead, who organizers said was shot in the hip, stomach, chest and head.
Police are asking anyone with information on Beyene to call Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta. Information on the case can be submitted anonymously to the Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line at 404-577-TIPS (8477) or online at www.crimestoppersatlanta.org. Persons do not have to give their name or any identifying information to be eligible for the reward of up to $2,000 for the arrest and indictment of the suspects.
