Thomas Eye Group Welcomes New Staffer

MIDTOWN, GA - From Thomas Eye Group: On the heels of opening its eighth location in Midtown Atlanta, Thomas Eye Group is proud to welcome its newest physician, Dr. Shivani Reddy, a board-certified Ophthalmologist. Dr. Reddy will see patients in the Midtown office location and her specialties include cataract surgery, treatment of diabetic retinopathy, retinal tears, macular degeneration, and various retinal vascular pathologies.

Dr. Reddy completed her undergraduate studies and medical school education at the University of Louisville, as part of a highly selective seven-year accelerated combined B.A./M.D. program. After completing her ophthalmology residency training at the University of Louisville, she received Medical Retina Fellowship training at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts Eye & Ear.

Dr. Reddy has a passion for people and global health issues, serving as a devoted member of Surgical Eye Expeditions (SEE) International. Her most recent medical trips include traveling to Mexico and Haiti where she performed manual small incision cataract surgery and diabetic retinopathy laser treatments. Dr. Reddy’s professional recognitions include the “Dedication to Service” award at Mass Eye & Ear.
