CRIME AWARENESS/COMMUNITY INFORMATION ALERT

Activity date: June 22, 2015 – June 23, 2015

Zone 1
Entering Auto – A 2004 Dodge pickup and 2009 Volkswagen van were entered sometime during the night at a residence on Camp Lake Rd. A 9 mm was taken out of the Dodge and a debit card and credit cards were taken from the Volkswagen.

Entering Auto – A 2001 Toyota Sequoia was entered sometime during the night at a residence on Camp Lake Rd. Cash, change and credit cards were taken.

Entering Auto – A 2007 Jeep Patriot was entered sometime during the night at a residence on Camp Lake Rd. Cash was taken from the vehicle.

Arrest – Billy Dillard was arrested for DUI and Following too Close in the area of Hwy 138 and Youth Jersey Rd. following a traffic stop.

Burglary – The hot water heater from the carport and the entire air conditioner unit from back of a residence on Amber Ct. was taken sometime between 11/26/2014 and 06/23/2015.

Zone 2
Nothing reported.

Zone 3
Fraud – Subject at a residence on Bethany Church Rd. is reportedly receiving calls from the IRS. IRS is reportedly stating they want money or subject will be arrested.

Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested in the area of Clearwater Estates due to juveniles reportedly knocking on doors in the area.

Damage to Property – Subject at a residence on Bryson Trl report a white, 2006 Chevrolet Impala was egged sometime during the night.

Zone 4
Arrest – Brittany Towler was arrested on Hwy 11 near Windstream for outstanding warrants.

Arrest – Howard Brewer was arrested for Battery and Cruelty to Children following an incident at a residence on Louise Dr.

Zone 5
Burglary – A 9mm handgun was taken from a residence on Grady Smith Rd. sometime between 6/14/2015 and 6/23/2015.

Harassment – Someone reportedly rang the doorbell to a residence on White Oak Cir in Providence Club and then ran off. Area checked. No contact.

Zone 6
Burglary – Subject at a residence on Creek View Circle came home and found a bloody footprint in her kitchen. There were no signs of forced entry and nothing was out of place.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 20 and Ivory Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Found Property – Subject at Peach State Auto Auction found $220 in counterfeit bills in a repossessed vehicle.

Trespassing – Resident on Annslee Lane reported trespassing at the Rock Quarry. Five subjects were found at the Rock Quarry. Subjects were escorted off the premises.

Trespassing – Resident on Caroline Ct. reported that several subjects were trespassing at the Rock Quarry. Subjects fled on foot upon deputy’s arrival. No contact with any subjects.

Trespassing – Resident on Caroline Ct. reported trespassing at the Rock Quarry. Subjects were gone upon deputy’s arrival.

Zone 7
Fraud – Subject at a residence on Lakeside Blvd. reportedly received a telephone call from a Middle Eastern male from the IRS stating money was owed for taxes from 2003-2008.

Arrest – Daniel Coker was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Walton County following a dispute at a residence on Wagon Tr.

Theft Report – Seven cases of coke that were left on location after a fundraiser at Walnut Grove High School were taken. Incident occurred sometime between 2:00 p.m.on 6/20/2015 and Monday morning 06/22/2015.
