Arrests Made in Walton Carjacking Case
Two Atlanta men are accused in the theft of a vehicle at gunpoint near the Walton-Morgan county line.

Two Atlanta men have been arrested in connection with a carjacking that began in Morgan County and ended at gunpoint after the victim followed the thief into Walton County.
Capt. Christopher A. Bish of the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office said in an email that the men were taken into custody late last week and charged in the carjacking on Walter Shepherd Road.
"Property from the Walter Shepherd Road investigation along with property believed to have been taken during other crimes in other jurisdictions was recovered during a search warrant at one of the suspect's Atlanta residence," Bish said.
Authorities were working this week to have the accused men identified through photo lineups and said they were not yet releasing names to avoid hurting other investigations.
