Atlanta YMCAs Host Park Clean Up and Community Fun Day
Five Atlanta YMCAs will host a two-day community service project for the YMCA's 2018 "Days of Service"

In celebration of the YMCA of Metro Atlanta's 160 year anniversary, the Y will host the "YMCA Days of Service" event. On September 14-15, the Y will gather 1,600 volunteers for 20 community service projects throughout metro Atlanta. For some projects, children as young as age 5 can volunteer.

Even the smallest projects we do within our neighborhoods can have a big impact! The Arthur M. Blank, Carl E. Sanders, South Dekalb, Summit and Andrew & Walter Young Family YMCAs are partnering with Park Pride to make a difference in our community through the Washington Park service project.

150 volunteers are needed to assist with the community festival.
There are three shifts available between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Volunteers between the ages of 5 and 18 must be accompanied by an adult. All activities will be outdoors and light physical activity will be required.
