Charles Alan Davis, age 77 of Monroe, Georgia, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM, Friday, August 1, 2014 at Grace Baptist Church in Monroe, Georgia, Rev. Tommy Fountain, Sr. will officiate.

Burial will follow at Corinth Memorial Gardens in Loganville, Georgia.

Mr. Davis was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Monroe and a United States Army Veteran. He was also a member of IBEW local union 613 for over 50 years of service and was retired electrical inspector with DeKalb County.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shirley Barron Davis, Monroe, Georgia; Children: Donna & David Shaler, Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Katie & Bill Trull, Charleston, South Carolina; Sheryl & Rick Helms, Woodstock, Georgia; Grandchildren: Deborah & Darla Shaler, Kaley, Elayna & Carmen Trull, Bradley & Caleb Helms.
