Felony Drug Charges, Laying Drag, Rock Quarry Trespassing: Sheriff's Calls

CRIME AWARENESS/COMMUNITY INFORMATION ALERT

Activity date: September 4, 2015-September 7, 2015

Zone 1
Suspicious Vehicle- At Liberty Hill Baptist Church caller reported seeing a black GMC Yukon and a red truck spinning tires in the church parking lot.

Suspicious Vehicle- In the area of Cannon Farm Road and Whitehead Road caller reported juveniles in the roadway riding four-wheelers. Deputies advised the juveniles to stay off the roadway.

Arrest- Amanda White and Billy Quarles were arrested off Highway 138 for multiple felony drug charges following a traffic stop.

Zone 2
Nothing Reported.

Zone 3
Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Moina Michael Road after motorist struck a deer. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Zone 4
Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Shoal Creek Road. No injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.

Arrest- Durante Lackey was arrested in the area of Walton Road and John Deere Road for Improper Start, Laying Drag, Suspended License and an outstanding Failure to Appear warrant out of Avondale Estates.

Disorderly Conduct- In the area of Summerset Place Jamilya Tory and Barry Reid were cited for disorderly conduct following a physical altercation. Parties were then separated.

Arrest- Katie Underwood was arrested in the area of Mountain Creek Church Road for Disorderly Conduct.

Arrest- Billy Ray Fowler was arrested at a business off Highway 78 for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County, Giving a False Name, and Fleeing.

Zone 5
Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Shadow Wood Drive in reference to juveniles being in the area in the late evening and early morning hours.

Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Highway 81 and Bold Springs Road. No life threatening injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.

Suspicious Vehicle- In the area of Azalea Drive complainant reported several vehicles pulled up into a Law Enforcement Officer’s residence and started yelling profanities. Deputies checked the area, no contact.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Bold Springs Road and Highway 11. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Arrest- Jamie Davis was arrested in the area of Bold Springs Road and Highway 11 for Driving on a Suspended License and an outstanding Failure to Appear warrant out of Monroe Police Department.

Arrest- Anthony Christian was arrested at a residence off Piney Grove Road for Criminal Damage to Property after busting out the window of a vehicle with a baseball bat.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Cedar Ridge and Double Spring Church Road. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Prowler- A resident in the area of Lee Peters Road reported hearing an unknown person knocking on the door, then they noticed the motion lights come on and a vehicle leave the area. Deputies checked the area, no contact.

Arrest/Accident- Ruth Sikes was arrested in the area of Double Springs Road and Dewy Hogan Road for Driving Under the Influence and Failure to Maintain lane following a single vehicle accident.

Theft- A residence in the area of Highway 11 complainant reported their black Murray Lawn Mower missing from a rental property.

Zone 6
Trespass- Three individuals were citied at the Rock Quarry for trespassing.

Arrest- Matthew Akin was arrested in the area Highway 20 and Bailey Circle for Driving Under the Influence following a traffic stop.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Highway 20. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

• Driving with Suspended License
• Violation of Instructional Permit/Temporary License
• Child Restraint Violation

Agency Assist/Accident- Deputies responded to the area of Highway 81 and Twin Lakes Road to assist Loganville Police Department with a fatality involving a pedestrian.

Zone 7
Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Walnut Grove High School in reference to speeding vehicles in the area after school has let out.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hightower Trail and White Road. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Arrest- Madeline Edwards was arrested in the area of Park Street for Driving Under the Influence following a traffic stop.

Arrest- David Barnes was arrested in the area of Old Highway 138 for Obstruction of an Officer, Possession of Marijuana Less Than an Ounce, Possession of Methamphetamines, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Possession of a Firearm During a Crime all following a traffic stop.

Arrest- Ronnie Head was arrested in the area of Sunny Hill Drive for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Loganville Police Department.

Theft- A residence off Greenhill Way homeowner reported jewelry missing from their bedroom.

Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Brandi Lane in reference to speeding four wheelers and motorcycles in the area.

Speeding Vehicle- A resident in the area of Brookview Drive reported a speeding motorcycle in the area.

Agency Assist/Arrest- Glen Snyder was arrested in Rockdale County for an outstanding Failure to Appear warrant out of Walton County.

Arrest- Joshua Carraway was arrested in the area of Walnut Avenue for Driving Under the Influence following a traffic stop.

Racing/Accident- Motorist was racing in the area of Bold Springs and Loth Wages Road causing an accident. Unknown injuries motorist transported to East Side Medical. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.

Arrest/Accident- Andrey Mukha was arrested in the area of Old Highway 138 for Driving Under the Influence, Open Container and Failure to Maintain Lane. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
