Former Employee Accused of Damages at Business: Sheriff's Calls

Zone 1
Arrest – Ronald Burdett was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Walton County following a trespassing complaint at Affordable Auto on Hwy 138.

Accident – An accident occurred in the area of Hwy 138 and Youth Jersey Rd. Accident handled by Georgia State Patrol.

Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at Glenda’s on Hwy 138. Business checked. Everything okay.

Suspicious Person – Subject reported hearing power tools, hammering and two male subjects talking at the Feed Store on Hwy 81. Area checked. No contact with anyone.

Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Pleasant Valley Rd. Residence checked. Everything okay.

Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at Bible Baptist. Church checked. Everything okay.

Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Jacks Creek Rd. Residence checked. Everything okay.

Other Law – Deputies were requested to check a residence on Turkey Mountain Trl. in reference to a window screen possibly being tampered with. No signs of entry. Everything okay.

Entering Auto – A vehicle was reportedly entered last week at a residence on Fisher Dr. A digital camera, cell phone and GPS were taken.

Damage to Property – Two lights at a residence on Double Springs Rd. were reportedly removed from the front gate of a driveway sometime over the weekend.

Fraud – Subject at a residence on Piney Grove Rd. reportedly received a fraudulent check from a subject after selling an item on Craig’s List.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 81 and Forest Falls. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. Multiple citations issued.

Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at Peach State Auto Auction. Business checked. Everything okay.

Gas Drive Off – A middle aged, white male wearing khaki shorts and a blue t-shirt pumped diesel fuel and left Quicks Corner without paying. The male subject was reportedly driving a brown or gold large pickup with chrome wheels and a white toolbox. The front half of the truck is brown and the back half is white.

Trespassing – One criminal trespass warning was issued due to subject trespassing at the Rock Quarry.

Damage to Property – Subject at a business on Karlee Blvd. is reportedly being harassed by a former employee. Fuel tanks have been reportedly contaminated, balance blocks removed from flatbed trailer, lug nuts on skid steer had been loosened and bolts holding a hitch on a trailer had been removed.

Accident – An accident occurred on Hwy81. Accident handled by Georgia State Patrol.

Accident – An accident occurred on Tucker Dr. Subject was reportedly run off the road by another vehicle causing him to strike a tree. Subject transported to hospital by mother.

Fraud – Subject at a residence on Magnolia Dr. reported someone obtained a check she had written to a landscape company, signed her name and cashed the check.
