Gwinnett Braves Fundraising for Tripp Halstead With 'Tripp's Trot' and Tripp Halstead Night

The Minor League Baseball team will host a 5K race and "Tripp Halstead Night" next month.

The Gwinnett Braves have announced plans to raise money for a Barrow County toddler critically injured in October when a tree limb weighing several hundred pounds fell and struck him in the head.  

The minor league baseball team will host a 5K Race, “Tripp’s Trot,” and “Tripp Halstead Night” at Coolray Field on Saturday, June 22, when the G-Braves play the Syracuse Chiefs. 

"Tripp's Trot" will start at 8 a.m. and registration for the 5K can be completed online at trippstrot.com. The fee is $25 before May 22, $28 before June 1, $30 before June 20 and $35 the day of the event.
