Man Posed As AT&T Rep, Bear Report, Threatening Calls: Sheriff's Reports

Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Alcovy Mountain Road in reference to a truck with cameras driving by the residence.

Stolen Vehicle- At a residence off Knox Chapel Road homeowner reported a utility trailer taken from the residence.

Zone 3

Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested at a business off Highway 78 in reference to someone possibly being on the property in the late evening and early morning hours.

Zone 4

Animal Complaint- At a residence off Old Athens Highway homeowner reported seeing a bear in the front yard. Deputies did a thorough check of the area. No contact.

Zone 5

Alarm­- Deputies responded to an alarm at a residence off Morgans Bluff. Deputies checked the area. Everything okay.

Accident- There was an accident in the area of Highway 11 and Mountain Creek Church Road. No life threatening injuries. Accident handled by Georgia State Patrol.

Zone 6

Threats- At a business off Highway 78 subject reported an unknown subject was calling making threats.

Alarm- Deputies responded to an alarm at a residence off Centerhill Church Road. Deputies checked the area. Everything okay.

Zone 7

Alarm- Deputies responded to an alarm at a business off Greenfield Lane. Deputies checked the area. Everything okay.

Suspicious Person- At a residence off Cannon Farm Road subject reported a black male wearing blue jeans rang the doorbell at 5 o’clock in the evening. It was reported that the male claimed he was with AT&T and left on foot. Complainant also reported to have contacted AT&T who denied having personnel in the area this date. Extra patrol requested in reference to the incident.
