Multiple Driving Arrests Reported During Weekend

CRIME AWARENESS/COMMUNITY INFORMATION ALERT

Activity date: September 18, 2015-September 20, 2015

Zone 1
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Monroe Jersey Road and HD Atha Road. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of HD Atha Road. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Highway 138 and Coggins Road. No life threatening injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.

Recovered Vehicle- A residence in the area of Wood Chase Drive caller reported they located their stolen golf cart 400-500 yards behind the residence in the woods.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a single vehicle fatality involving a four wheeler off Dally Trail. Georgia State Patrol and Criminal Investigations handled the scene of the accident.

Arrest- Willie Jackson was arrested in the area of Highway 81 for Driving Under the Influence, Open Container, Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce and Driving While License Suspended following a traffic stop.

Zone 2
Theft- At a business off Baxalta Parkway complainant reported an unknown subject took approximately $117,000 worth of networking equipment.

Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Social Circle Fairplay Road and Browning Shoals Road in reference to suspicious activity and multiple mailboxes damaged in the area.

Damage to Property- A residence in the area of Social Circle Fairplay Road homeowner reported damage to their mailbox for the third time within a week. Extra patrol requested in reference to the incident.

Zone 3
Disturbing the Peace- A residence in the area of Brentwood Boulevard complainant reported hearing loud music and possible juveniles in the middle of the road. Deputies checked the area no contact with juveniles or loud music.

Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Highway 78 in reference to vehicles drag racing in the early morning hours.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Clearwater Way. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Zone 4
Arrest- Linda Towler was arrested at a residence in the area Windsor Drive for Theft by Deception and an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County.

Arrest- Ted Lotz was arrested off Walton Road for Driving Under the Influence following a traffic stop.

Theft- A residence in the area of Gratis Road homeowner reported their mail was stolen out of their mailbox.

Zone 5
Fraud- A residence in the area of Highway 81 caller reported a fraudulent craigslist ad in which they received insufficient funds for a product from an individual claiming to live in Texas.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Highway 81 and Forest Falls Drive. No injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.

Arrest- Robert Henderson was arrested by Conyers Police Department for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County.

Suspicious Vehicle- A residence in the area of Hillside Road homeowner reported an unknown passenger car was parked in front of their residence. Deputies checked the area, no contact.

Arrest- Dillion Hunt was arrested in the area of Troy Smith Road and Morgans Landing Drive for Driving Under the Influence, Failure to Maintain Lane and Too Fast For Conditions following a single vehicle accident with no injuries.

Arrest- Tanner Murphy was arrested in the area of Troy Smith Road and Morgans Landing Drive for Driving Under the Influence and Failure to Maintain Lane after a single vehicle accident with no injuries.

Arrest- Lincoln Kokaram was arrested in the area of Ho Hum Hollow Road and New Hope Church Road for Driving Under the Influence following a traffic stop.

Arrest- Courtney Crutchfield was arrested at a business off Walker Park Drive for Driving Under the Influence and outstanding warrants out of Barrow County after being found at a business after hours.

Zone 6
Identity Theft- A residence on Centerhill Church Road caller reported someone used their information to apply for a credit card.

Arrest- Collis Johnson was arrested in the area of Highway 20 and the Rockdale County Line for Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce following a traffic stop.

Arrest- Bonnie Battersby was arrested at a residence off Annslee Lane in reference to an outstanding warrant out of Gwinnett County.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Highway 20 and Windermere Drive. No injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident..

Burglary- A residence in the area of Highway 81 homeowner reported someone made a forced entry into their barn and took an excessive amount of tools from the location. Criminal Investigations Division handled the scene of the incident.

Zone 7
Arrest- Wendy Herndon was arrested in the area of Highway 81 and Youth Jersey Road for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Stone Mountain Police Department following a traffic stop.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Highway 138 and Woodlake Church. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Citations/Arrest in reference to Safety Check:

• Citations Issued: Expired Tag, Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce, Minor in Possession of Alcohol and Open Container.
• Arrest- Emanuel Stevens was arrested for Driving While License Suspended and an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Kansas following a Safety Check.
• Arrest- Ryan Holliday was arrested for Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce following a Safety Check.
• Arrest- Rene Graham was arrested for Driving While License Suspended following a Safety Check.
• Arrest- Michael Mingo Jr. was arrested for Driving Under the Influence following a Safety Check.

Arrest- John Himel was arrested in the area of Walnut Avenue for Driving Under the Influence and an outstanding Failure to Appear warrant out of Walton County following a suspicious vehicle complaint.

Arrest- Krystle Perez and Porche Harris were arrested in the area of Highway 78 and West Spring Street for Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce and Forgery of Financial Transaction Card after finding numerous Visa and MasterCard cards in their vehicle following a traffic stop.
