Obituary: Berdie Clyde "Betty" Ouzts, 91, of Monroe

Berdie Clyde "Betty" Ouzts, age 91, of Monroe, died on October 5, 2013.

She was born in Walton County on September 1, 1922 to the late Lizzie Hogan Queen and the late Will Lee Queen. She was preceded in death by her son, the late Randall Chancey.

Surviving are: daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and Jim Whitley of Monroe, Serita and Chappie Tift of Tifton; son and daughters-in-law, Courtney and Juanita Chancey of Monroe; Ann Chancey Cardell of Social Circle; sister, Annette Adcock of Monroe; 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 11:00 am at Walker Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Pulliam and Dr. Jeff Box officiating. Interment followed at Queen Family Cemetery. Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
