Obituary: Mozelle Pope Wilber, 95 of Decatur and Monroe

Mozelle Pope Wilber, 95 of Decatur and Monroe, GA, passed away at home on September 24, 2013 with her daughter and an angel from Hospice by her side.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, K.C and Capers Pope, her husband of 54 years, Henly Tyler Wilbur, her beloved grandson, Zachary Tyler Martin and her two brothers and sisters.

Mozelle retired from W.R. Bean & Son Printing Co. She was a member of Martha Brown United Methodist Church and the Wesley Sunday School Class, who provided her with much love and support during her declining health. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (David) Martin; grandson, Josh (Kimberly) Martin; grandchildren, Collin and Gabrielle Martin; step-children, John Gentry, Ringo, Melanie and Dustin Hampton. Also nephews, Charles Pope, Ellis Pope, Kenneth Pope, and niece, Debbie Ford Pope and several great nephews and nieces. She is also survived by her beloved family caretaker, Doll Pope.

The family would like to extend their deepest, heartfelt gratitude to the angels from Vistas Hospice. Their love will be forever remembered.

The celebration of life was held on September 27, 2013at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Monroe Chapel. Interment followed at Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mountain with Rev. David Collins officiating.
