Obituary: Terry Lee Ayers, 67

Terry Lee Ayers, age 67, died on September 5, 2013. He was born in Dawson County on April 26, 1946 to the late Ellene Dobbs Ayers and the late Thomas William Ayers Sr.

He was preceded in death by his wife, the late Mary Ayers, and by his brother, the late Don Ayers. Surviving are: daughters and son-in-law, Terri Lynn and Alan Johnson of Bethlehem, Bobbi Jo Ayers of Monroe; sons and daughter-in-law, William Lee Ayers of Monroe, Thomas Joel T.J. and Tammy Ayers of Statham; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue and Ed Ingram of Dawsonville, Linda and Vernon Ingram of Tifton, Beverly and Howard Farmer of Cornelia, Wanda and Randy Edwards of Dawsonville, Wilma and Ricky Crawford of Dawsonville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tom and Helen Ayers of Dawsonville, Ronnie and Alynda Ayers of Baker, FL, Tony and Sharon Ayers of Dawsonville; 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 8, 2013 in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Lee Ayers officiating.
