St. Anna’s Catholic Church Knights of Columbus Receive Top Awards

At the State of Georgia Knights of Columbus Convention, St. Anna’s Catholic Church Council #14425 received the winning 2019 Annual Award for “Service to the Family”. The Council honored St. Anna’s congregation’s military veterans by dedicating its “Veterans Wall of Honor” with pictures of over 200 photos of the family’s military veterans, along with a dedication and a mass. State K of C Deputy Marc Corrigan presented Don Williams, Grand Knight and Wylie Stokes, Deputy Grand Knight, Bob Gaubert and Gerald Landkamer with the Service Award.

In a separate recognition, Bob Gaubert received the coveted 2019 Georgia State “Knight of The Year Award” for his leadership, dedication and service to the Knights of Columbus Organization and to St. Anna’s Parish. Mr. Gaubert was selected for this singular award as his submittal stood out amongst all the other candidates from other Knights of Columbus councils within the state of Georgia.
