Trespassing Fishermen, Multiple Wrecks, Scammers: Sheriff's Calls

Zone 1
Stolen Vehicle- A residence off Highway 138 caller reported an unknown subject took a truck from the location. Vehicle was put on the national database.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Walnut Avenue. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Trespassing- At Liberty Hill Church two subjects were found fishing at the lake without permission. Both subjects citied from Criminal Trespass.

Fraud- A residence off HD Atha complaint reported someone hacked into their computer.

Disabled Vehicle- There was a disabled vehicle in the area of Highway 138 and Woodlake Baptist Church deputies checked the vehicle and motorist reported it would be removed.

Stolen Vehicle- A residence off Wood Chase Drive homeowner reported their 2004 Golf Car was taken from the residence in the late evening hours.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Jersey Social Circle Road. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Zone 2
Loud Music- A residence off Chickadee Drive caller reported hearing loud music in the area. Deputies made contact with the suspect and advised them to turn the music down.

Zone 3
Theft- A residence off Laboon Road complaint reported someone took money from the residence.

Damage to Property- A residence in the area of Old Monroe Madison Highway complaint reported hearing firearms being discharged and a vehicle speeding away. Deputies checked the area, and five mailboxes were discovered damaged.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident involving a deer in the area of Brentwood Blvd. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Zone 4
Stolen Vehicle- A residence off Bradley Gin Road caller reported their utility trailer and go-cart were taken from the residence in the early morning to midafternoon hours. Items placed on national database.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident involving a deer in the area of Shoal Creek Road. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Jack Glass and Perry Smith Road. No injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.

Fraud- A residence in the area of Parker Drive complaint reported fraud when she was notified by her bank of a counterfeit check.

Zone 5
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Highway 81 and Bold Spring Road. No injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Highway 81 and Ozora Church Road. No life threatening injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to another accident in the area of Ozora Church Road. No life threatening injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Highway 11 and Shoal Creek Road. No injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.

Arrest- Lonnie Combs was arrested at a residence off Mountain Creek Church Road for Aggravated Assault and Criminal Trespass following a dispute.

Fraud- A residence in the area of Hudson Road homeowner reported an unknown person called claiming to be with a computer company and told them their computer had been hacked. Complaint reported to have given the fraudulent company $327 to fix their computer.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Highway 81 and Shadow Creek. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Highway 81. No injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Bold Springs Road. No injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.

Disorderly Conduct- Duane Williford was issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct at a residence off Cliff Top Road after being highly intoxicated in the area.

Suspicious Vehicle- A construction site in the area of Bay Creek Church Road complaint reported several vehicles were on location “four-wheeling” in the mud. Deputies made contact with suspects and they were cited for Criminal Trespass.

Theft- A residence off James Powers Road homeowner reported someone took 50-55 homing pigeons from their bird cage.

Zone 6
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a fatality in the area of Highway 20 and Miller Bottom Road. Subject was struck by a motorcycle. Georgia State Patrol and Criminal Investigations handled the scene of the accident.

Suspicious Vehicle- A residence in the area of Cedar Lake Trail caller reported a vehicle driving recklessly in the area. Deputies checked the area, no contact.

Theft- A residence in the area of Annslee Circle homeowner reported a check was taken from their mailbox.

Suspicious Person- A residence in the area of Grove Trail caller reported two subjects on foot in the area claiming to be with AT&T.

Suspicious Vehicle- A residence in the area of Harris Drive complaint reported an unknown red Ford Ranger parked in the area.

Suspicious Vehicle- A residence in the area of Charleston Court homeowner reported an unknown subject entered their property and have been dumping trash.

Suspicious Vehicle- A residence in the area of Charleston Court complaint reported several juveniles in the area in an SUV were yelling and cursing.

Zone 7
Fraud- A residence off Gum Creek Court homeowner reported an unknown person called the residence claiming to be with the IRS.

Arrest- April Maynard was arrested at a residence off River Forest Road for Family Violence Battery and Cruelty to Children in the 3rd Degree following a dispute.

Arrest- Derreck Schoonover was arrested in the area of Highway 138 and Rylee’s 4 Wheel Drive for Driving Under the Influence following a traffic stop.
