Walton County Resident Reports Seeing Man in Dark Clothing, Ski Mask
The Walton County Sheriff's Office responded to the following incident reports Oct. 10-13, 2013.

Zone 1
- Suspicious Person – A resident on Jersey Social Circle Rd. reported that a large-framed male dressed in dark clothing and wearing a ski mask was observed behind their residence along the wood line. No one was found.
- Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Isabella Lane in Isabella subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
- Trespassing – A mailbox was reportedly tampered with at a residence on Sterling Water Drive in Lakeshore Estates.
- Theft – Mail was stolen from a mailbox on Lakeshore Drive in Lakeshore Estates.
- Vehicle Accident – A vehicle accident occurred on Hwy. 81
- Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Sterling Water Drive in Lakeshore Estates. All windows and doors appeared secure.
Zone 2
- Vehicle Accident – A vehicle accident occurred on Hwy 11 @ Pleasant Valley Rd.
- Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Willow Grove Way. All windows and doors appeared secure.
Zone 3
- Suspicious Activity – A resident on Wayne Meadows Rd. reports that someone has been entering their residence during the morning hours.
Zone 4
- Firearms – Extra patrol was requested on Elizabeth Drive in Green Acres in reference to gunshots being heard around the area.Â
- Trespassing – A subject was arrested for Criminal Trespass after illegally hunting on Jim Daws Rd. @ Hwy 78.
- Theft – A riding lawn mower and an A/C unit was taken from a residence on Jack Glass Rd.
- Hit-and-Run – A hit-and-run driver caused an accident on James Huff Rd. @ Hwy 78 then fled the scene. The other driver was injured.
Zone 5
- Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Fairwinds Drive in Fairwinds subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
- Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Double Springs Place in Alcovy Bluffs. All windows and doors appeared secure.
- Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Deep Wood Drive in Deep Wood Farms subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
- Juvenile Problem – A dispute occurred between a resident on Wedgewood Drive in the Highlands subdivision and juveniles in the area. Extra patrol is requested.
- Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Maple Creek Avenue in Maple Creek subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
- Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Double Springs Rd. at New Hope Church Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
- Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Forest Falls Drive in Forest Ridge subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
- Damage – A mailbox was tampered with on Spring Hill Drive in Spring Hill Estates. Extra patrol was requested.
- Criminal Damage – The rear window and taillights were busted out of a vehicle parked on Brookhaven Drive in Maggie Valley subdivision. A suspect was named. Extra patrol was requested.
Zone 6
- Structure Fire – A fire occurred at Choice Care on Hwy 20. All patients were pulled out of the facility without injuries.
- Agency Assist – A fight occurred on Georgia Circle. Walton County deputies were asked to assist Loganville Police Department. A subject was arrested for Disorderly Conduct.
Zone 7
- Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on McKinsey Ridge in Taylor Woods subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
- Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Cambridge Terrace in Cambridge Estates. All windows and doors appeared secure.
- Theft – An Atlanta flag was taken from a residence on H D Atha Rd.
