Cash America Acquires Norcross-Based PawnMart, Gets 31 New Locations

The deal is expected to close by later this year.

Pawnshop operator Cash America is acquiring all the stores of a Norcross-based rival company.

According to the AJC, Cash America will be taking over 31 PawnMart locations. That bring its total to 48 stories in metro Atlanta.

The deal is expected to close later this year. PawnMart's chief executive officer plans to stay on through the transition.

Nearby, there are PawnMart locations in Norcross, Lilburn, Tucker, Snellville and Stone Mountain.
