Daniel Taylor Earns ChFC(R) Designation

Daniel Taylor, a Brokerage Manager at Ashford Advisors, has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) professional designation.

Daniel Taylor, a Brokerage Manager at Ashford Advisors, has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) professional designation from The American College. Candidates for the ChFC® Designation must complete a minimum of eight courses and 16 hours of supervised examinations. They must also fulfill stringent experience and ethics requirements. Over 50,000 individuals have been awarded the ChFC® designation since its inception in 1982.

The ChFC® program prepares professionals to meet the advanced financial needs of individuals, professionals, and small- business owners. ChFCs can identify and establish specific goals and then formulate, implement and monitor a comprehensive plan to help achieve those goals. Individuals who earn the ChFC® designation have a broad range of knowledge on various financial topics which include wealth accumulation, estate planning, income taxation, life and health insurance, business planning, investments and retirement planning.

Mr. Taylor serves as a Brokerage Manager and Disability Insurance Specialist for Ashford Advisors, a position he has held since 2009. He works with financial professionals throughout North Georgia to customize disability insurance plans to meet the needs of their clients. Mr. Taylor entered the industry following in the footsteps of his father, Leonard B. Taylor, who retired in 2006 as a result of a debilitating illness. Mr. Taylor knows first-hand the importance of having protection in place for unexpected life events, and has a passion for helping people to develop a plan, because a disability can affect their entire lives in ways they would never expect, as it did his family.

Mr. Taylor is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and resides in Norcross, Georgia with his family. He graduated cum laude from Georgia State University in 2008. He attended Washington & Lee University in Virginia until his father’s illness prompted him to return to Georgia.
