GAC Shows Competing High School Goodwill, Donates $7,000 to Football Team
Expensive valuables were stolen from the Howard High School football team during a game in Norcross. The away school is located in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Greater Atlanta Christian School stepped up to the plate to help a competing football team, which loss valuables stashed in a locker during a game.
According to WTVC News Channel 9 in Chattanooga, the Howard High School varsity football team stored expensive items -- money, cell phones, radios, and iPads -- in GAC lockers.
The valuables were stolen during the Sept. 27 game. To help make up for some of the loss, GAC's head coach Tim Hardy brought a $7,000 check to the team, along with headsets for the coaches, New Channel 9 reported.
"Sometimes our kids don't get the feeling of someone else caring about them, someone outside of our school community," Howard's Coach Mike Calloway told News Channel 9.
But, this time they did.
