Man Indicted For 2018 Gwinnett Murder

NORCROSS, GA — An Ellenwood, Georgia, man has been indicted for a murder of Joseph Lamont Love, 42, of Norcross, at the Rockbridge Court Apartments in January 2018, according to the Gwinnett County Police Department.

Charles Bacote, 35, was indicted for felony murder and aggravated assault Jan. 30. He is currently in the Gwinnett County Jail.

Officers were dispatched to 2232 Rockbridge Court and located Love who had been shot multiple times. The Gwinnett County Fire Department responded as well and Love was determined to be dead at the scene. Members of the Criminal Investigations Division Homicide Unit responded for follow-up investigation.
