Norcross Company to do Business in Japan
Comverge, Inc., will be part of a project funded by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
A Norcross company announced today that it will be part of a special effort to establish energy research and development in Japan.
The company, Comverge, Inc., bills itself as the leading provider of "intelligent energy management solutions for residential and commercial" industries.
According to a press release, the international presence will be partially funded by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, which selected Comverge to be part of its subsidy program to promote Japan.
"Designed to enhance Japan's status as an Asian economic center," officials stated in the press release, "this program supports global companies' establishment of new high-value-added business locations."
