Norcross High Graduate Focused on Growing Coffee Business
Kevin Candelario Arita and his former teacher, Dick Stafford, began Yonah Coffee in 2011.

A Norcross High graduate is back in the news, as Atlanta Magazine features the founders of Yonah Coffee.
Kevin Candelario Arita and his former teacher, Dick Stafford, began planting Central American seeds for their Arabica coffee company in 2011.
It was at first a way for the Honduras-born Arit to gain legal status here. Now, the two are hoping to invigorate the coffee business in the peach state.
Grown at a Habersham farm, the first crop of 1,000 plants are expected to be ready for roasting in November 2014, according to the Yonah Coffee website.
Arita recently graduated from Norcross High, so now he can spend more of his time working on relatively new business. According to Atlanta Magazine, he plans to use profits to attend college.
