Norcross Business Leader, RockTenn Executive Named to UGA's '40 Under 40'

The alumni association of University of Georgia (UGA) has named a Norcross man to its 2013 list of "40 under 40."

Timothy Murphy, of Norcross, is among those being recognized. He graduated from UGA in 1996, and is the current senior vice president of finance at RockTenn, according to a UGA press release.

(RockTenn is a paperboard and packaging manufacturer located in Norcross.)

Murphy, and the others selected, will be honored during an awards luncheon Sept. 19 at the Georgia Aquarium.

The 40 alumni chosen came from a pool of about 500 graduates. They were evaluated based on their commitment to UGA, leadership, and philanthropy, among other things.
