Pics: Primrose Preschoolers Calm Parents' Nerves Amid I-85 Stress In Norcross

With the I-85 repairs stressing adults out, preschoolers at Primrose School in Norcross have treats and eats to calm commuters' nerves.

NORCROSS, GA -- The Interstate 85 traffic congestion is not only affecting adults, metro Atlanta's youngest residents are being impacted as well -- but they are turning the tables.

Preschoolers at Primrose School of Peachtree Corners in Norcross recently did their part in turning grown-ups' frowns to smiles.

Children, including 5-year-old Richard, distributed smiles and treats to parents every morning as they came to the school to drop off their kids.

Over several days, the preschoolers have given out “Chill Pills” (Skittles) with an RX prescription (Take one by mouth as needed to ease stress from the commute); Bear claws for a more bearable commute; cinnamon rolls guaranteed to help parents “Keep Calm and Roll On”; Fruit for the commute and Coffee for the drive, the school said.

Richard handed out treats Thursday and will do so Friday as well from 7 to 9 a.m. at the school.
